Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
No, a phono preamp has to decode the RIAA curve. This is different from what a line level preamp does, which is just to raise line level signals to levels that a power amp can then amplify. Unless the M-Audio has the RIAA curve built into it, which is doubtful, you'll still need a phono preamp...
How do you intend to use the speakers? Is this for your computer or for your stereo or for you HT setup? Are you useing these for games or for music? If music what kind of music do you listen to? All these are important in discussing what speakers you should buy.
And generally I think Bose...
I have my CD burner in this case . It allows me to burn at 48X using 1394 and is built like a fort. I wrote to ask them what chips they used and they wrote back the same day with this information:
You can't RMA it to Western Digital if there is nothing wrong with it. You say the only reason you want to return it is that you wanted a different product. That is between you and New Egg. Why not give them a call. If they won't take it back you can always sell it online.
Try it and see what happens. If it works you'll have an answer and you can post it here. If it doesn't all you've wasted is time. I can't see how you would damage anything. :)
Hard drives are a magnetic media. I would think that if you have a strong enough magnet, such as a bulk tape eraser, it might be strong enough to erase or at least jumble the contents of the hard drive.
I also have a Nexstar2. It is a total POS. Nexstar dirve corruption is thy name. I've just wrote Macally to find out what chips are in their PHR 100-AC. I've got the PHC 500BC and it works really well with my cd burner. My only complaint is that they don't sit on their sides though they do...
2 rebates, needed to be sent Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested from Tiger Direct. It would be a nice deal if it was from some other vendor. IMHO, of course. Also please note the product reviews of this memory and the reseller ratings.
