How does the 980x compare to two Intel Xeon E5620 2.4GHz LGA1366 Quad-Core procressors??

How much power would be lost with dual 1800's vs a single 4800 card? I am building a workstation for predominantly modeling in maya, modo, zbrush and some photoshop work. I also work in the unreal engine a lot.

What is folding, doesn't it have something to do with aliasing?

I do modeling in maya, modo, and zbrush. Stuff in photoshop, topogun, that kinda stuff. Almost no rendering.

How much of a performance difference is there? Would the extra 2 cores help with anything other than rendering animation?
