If you try to play at a resolution lower than the TV's native resolution, there are two possibilities: 1. The TV scales the lower resolution up to its native resolution. This will always introduce some blurriness, especially with text, but the amount depends on the actual TV. I didn't do it... -

Best LCD TV to use as a monitor?
I currently own a Westinghouse lvm-37w3se and use it as a computer monitor. I absolutely love it, but I'm moving cross country and shipping a screen of this size (w/o damaging it) might be prohibitively expensive. Therefore, I might have to sell it here and replace it when I get to my new home... -

I've heard too many complaints about the dynamic contrast of the 32" sharp when used as a monitor, so I'm not sure I'd want to go that route. As for the westinghouse, I've heard lots of good things, but how much worse are the colors & blacks than the fw900? -

Ok, I tweaked my requirements. The TV should be 32" - 37", as I couldn't sit back far enough if the set was any bigger. And I removed the price as a consideration for now. Is this still too much to ask? -
