Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thanks for the reply and advice sfsilicon.
I just tried some runs with Push/Pull this afternoon, and it did lower my temps 3-4 Degrees. I think I'll try for 4ghz soon, and with your much appreciated advice, I'll feel much more confident doing so this time. Thanks again!
Hey guys, Let me know if these numbers look ok. I took these screens while running another LinX test. Right now my room tempurature is 72*F.
I'm not sure if my VTT, QPI PLL are set correctly as this is a work in progress. Also are the GFlop nubmers about right?
I've dabbled with some 4ghz...
I'll look at some Belkins, but I probably won't need the adsl2 feature. I'm really happy with my Cable Modem connection.
If I do go with the DGL-4500, I will upgrade the Firmware for sure. I have a few friends with the DGL and they're very happy with them after the Firmware upgrades.
I'm...
I'm planning on getting a new wireless router and needed your valued opinions. I want gigabit LAN and WAN and I would like to have Wireless N capability. I do a lot of Network Sharing, Media Streaming, Torrenting, and dabble on the Playstion 3 from time to time. The Netgear won't cost me as...
I found the following SSD browsing Wal-Mart's Website and I wanted to know what you guys thought of this drive. I would be upgrading from a 300gb Velociraptor as my System Drive running Windows 7 64-bit. This will be for my main rig(specs in sig), which is used mainly for everyday computing...
Sorry I can't answer your question about wiring 4 CCFL's to one switch.
Have you hooked the CCFL's up yet? I'm interesting in buying one of these switches for a 12v led set up. I was wondering how well the "sound reaction" works.
Surly, thanks for that reply.
Thats a great tip. I'll try running it down at 20% and see if I get more estimated minutes.
I mostly go by what is indicated on the lcd screen of the unit.
Even if I only get 14 minutes of back up, i'm satisfied with the performance. I'm really glad I...
I bought these units about 2 weeks ago, one of the batteries has a certification date of June 2006, I'm kind of concerned about that one. I like the 100watt lamp idea, I'll have to try that out. I agree APC has a very good warranty on their products.
Thanks for your help, MrF!
There is an LCD screen on the front that indicates how many watts your are using as well as % of load, Voltage IN and OUT, estimated back up time. A really nice feature. The wattage displayed on the rarely goes above 300watts unless I'm benchmarking or gaming. I guess I should verify that...
I think I did the right thing when buying more than I needed as far as wattage and VA rating. The power seems to be fine most of the time here in Central California, but if it does rain you can count multiple outages throughout the day.
My home's circuitry isn't the most stable, even though...
Thanks for the help so far Dave. I've been running the Powerchute software ever since I installed the UPS along with the USB cable. It really like how that works, I setting it to auto shutdown when there is 5 minutes left of back up time.
I was just wondering with the wattage I'm using and...
I currently am using an APC BX-1300LCD Uninterruptible power supply (UPS). This Model has a 700watt / 1300VA Capacity.
I'm running at a load of < 300W. When I test the system and pull the main power plug, I'm only geting about 12 Minutes of Back up Time.
Does this sound right? One...
Cut out fan grills, Painted Inside and added another GTX 260, runs Awesome now.
Working on this NSK4480 for my server, had to relocate the HD Cage 1.5" Backwards to fit a 120mm fan in front. Paint just got done drying. I love the 8 SATA's on the EVGA 730i
