Machinist; makes perfect sense! I was thinking how awesome it would be to have access to materials and equipment that people use to actually make those parts! Really admire everything you are doing; keep it up man, loving this thread.
Holy BEAST. You sir, are a bad ass! If you don't mind me asking... How much do you think this build will cost you? And the next logical question is: what do you do for a living?
Hey man could you take a picture or tell me if you take a flashlight and put it behind one of the key caps, will the laser etching become more apparent (highlighted)? Thank man!
My one suggestion coming from the above posted list of components would be to go with a 256GB SSD. You will see the price drop for some of them ~ $150.00. 120 GB is fine for a main drive; but if you don't have a backup disk / somewhere to store data you will find yourself looking for space...
Hey man... It's not just Geek Squad. It's Best Buy. I was going to CC a few years ago with a girl that worked at Best Buy, we were on the same team for a Engineering course. The team had a shared Drop Box that was linked to our personal accounts, she ended up posting an entire set of nudies to...

I forgot to add how much of a bummer not being able to get an Iris Pro laptop; I was...
Well, the A8 series runs at either 35W or 45W TDP.
Intel's mobile Haswell processors are running from 15W, 28W, 37W, and 47W. So you can definitely save battery life by opting for the 15W processor, but some of the processor's box prices are as much as some A8 built laptops. The i7-4650U (the...
