    As I understand it a LCD picture is made up of many individual pixels. DVI and Analog mode both show the same number of pixels. Why is DVI said to be clearer than Analog?

    I'm looking for a 17" LCD from a reputable maker for lots of gaming, DVD-watching, as well as surfing wordy sites and text work so text must be clear. I want one in beige so it stands out less. What fits the bill?
