    1.5ish ghz G4 powerbooks with 1gb or 1.25gb of ram go often for around 700 on ebay. Just the other day a 15" 1.3 1.25gb of ram powerbook with tons of software and an extra battery went for 690 so I'd browse there for a while. I just got my 15" powerbook with 1ghz/512/combo for 520.
