    Dell U2711

Hey guys, been having a new issue with my U2711 not fully entering a sleep state. The screen used to turn off and be completely black, but now it seems to be partially backlit. Instead of taking 5-6 seconds for the monitor to wake up, it's instant. What's the deal? Thanks.

    Mechanical Keyboard Guide

My Blackwidow Ultimate has been acting strange lately, random keys decide to stop working at different times, and the W key either doesn't work, or double taps. My first mechanical keyboard was a Filco Majestouch with brown switches, but the W and G key don't always work. I'd really like...

    Asus Sabertooth P67 question. (Temps)

It's been a year and I can't even count how many fans I've went through! My newest 50mm fan just started gurgling after 1 month. As for your USB 3.0 temp, 65c is pretty warm, but I doubt it's going to damage it. My USB 3.0 sits around 50c while playing games. (85f Ambient) What case do you...

    Sabertooth P67 Bios/Chipset question

Hey guys, been running the 1305 BIOS since I got the board, is there any reason to update? Same with the Chipset driver, I'm a few versions behind... Only reason I ask is because I'm not getting the performance I should be. I shouldn't be stuttering or getting fps drops in half the games I...

Radeon 7970 - bottom 15% of screen flickering issue (120 Hz)

This was happening on my Dell U2711, so it's not limited to 120hz only. Save a copy of the Profile.xml to your desktop, set it so the idle clocks are 300/300, save it and set it as read only. Next add it as an active profile (with CCC enabled) and restart. Gaming > Application Profiles

    Corsair 850W (AX) fan problem...

thanks for the info.. I just powered down my PC to put extra screws in the hdd bay since it had a slight vibration and now my PC wont power up. I checked all the connections, even the power and reset button cables. all I hear when I try to power my PC on is a single click from the fans trying...

    Sabertooth P67 Assistant fan issues.

Not so much an issue with the fan itself, but the fact that it blocks the PCI 1X slot. With my old 5870 I was able to place my Xonar XTS in the 3rd PCI 1X slot due to the reference design cooler, but now with my new 7970, I can't fit the Xonar STX in the PCI 1X slot anymore, so it's in my 2nd...

GIGABYTE Radeon HD 7970 OC (GV-R797OC-3GD) Video Card Review @ [H]

I agree, it's damn fast, but LOUD as all hell. Whatever you do, don't manually set the fan speed to 20% in CCC. I tried this and realized that I hit 97c for a brief moment while running furmark  And that's with 2x Enermax Magma's blowing towards the card as well.

    Corsair 850W (AX) fan problem...

Yeah, I know :p I'm sure it would take the PSU in the process too. They told me to ship the PSU to them, but they are in CA while I'm in NJ, so I wrote back and requested an Advanced RMA, hopefully all goes well and they send one out.

    Gigabyte Windforce cooler

Although the temps are fantastic, does anyone else hear a pulsing sound? It's pretty annoying, almost like there's massive gusts of air going on ever since I installed this card.

    Corsair 850W (AX) fan problem...

Thanks for the reply, I'm 99% sure it's squeaking. It's not a constant sound, it's more like.. Squeak..... pause Squeak..... pause Squeak..... pause Squeak.....

    Corsair 850W (AX) fan problem...

I've been going crazy for the past month trying to figure out where this occasional squeaking sound has been coming from. I finally figured out that it's the PSU fan squeaking as it spins up. I actually ran Furmark a few times with different fans disconnected and figured out that it was...
