Is the noise in this PSU normal? It is really annoying and loud when I open up games, but other then gaming, it is quiet. I just recently purchased this PSU a week and a half ago.
Corsair HX850 - Buzzing/Screetching Noise

Stock voltage, I'm reseating as we speak.
EDIT: I did implement some of the settings from this guide. I know It's intended for Ivy/Sandy Bridge but it shouldn't be much different. Overclocking Guide
Well I may just go with a 680 then. What is the issue I hear about the ST45SF-G with the Hard Drives and all? Can I still fit two 2.5 inch drives along with a optical drive? Including jamming in a 680 and a Corsair H60?
Seriously? That is awesome! Though the only drawback now is the fact that the 770 are 10.5 inches long so I don't believe it would fit in the FT03-Mini.
I'm also reading on the Nvidia's website that the GTX 770 draws out more power than the GTX 680.
GTX 680:
Maximum Graphics Card Power (W) 195 W
Minimum System Power Requirement (W) 550 W
Supplementary Power Connectors Two 6-pin
GTX 770:
Maximum Graphics Card Power (W) 230 W
Minimum Recommended...
Would anyone be able to confirm if a GTX 770 can be powered by the SFX Silverstone 450w Powersupply? Also, since the card is 10 inches long, will it be able to fit with a Corsair H60 in the FT03-Mini?
Thanks,
Jay
Now you all got me thinking and if I want performance in the long run, I may buy the K version of the cpu and overclock sometime in the future instead of upgrading. The only thing I would really need to upgrade I believe is the graphics card. Also, will 16gb of ram suffice aswell?
Unless your going for looks and such, there's no reason to get a water cooler if your not overclocking. But the only reason why I included one IS because of looks and simplicity. I bought the Corsair closed loop systems since they first came out and never had a single issue with them. Living out...
Well in that case...if I'm running the somewhat standard 1920 x 1080, 4gb would be overkill wouldn't it? If so, I may aswell buy the 770. As for the release of Haswell; it states it's going to be released in June 3rd, but is that for PC Manufactures or will it let us buy it independently from...
