I would recommend the U2412M or U2415 instead, basically same price (sub $300) but 1920x1200, 16:10 ftw.
Neither is an 'upgrade' from the 2407wfp, however, at anything other than lower power consumption by being led backlit. The 2407 is a better panel.
assign more cpu cores to each vm, you don't need 1 cpu core per vm, you can assign all of your available cores to each vm and the host will take care of priority.

I'm trying to get this setup, but so far can only get this working if I run an ethernet wire from my home router, to the asus box.
basically I have a printer and an external HDD I'd like to share over the network, but I don't want to run any wires to them from the router...
Have some data on an SAS drive that I would like to access on a PC that does not have SAS.
Looking at it, it looks like the drive will plug right into my nexus external usb SATA enclosure, will I let the magic smoke out if I try such a silly thing?
I get capped when I leach off the verizon provided newsgroups servers, if I hit it hard for a couple of days it seems they cap me to much slower speeds. Seems to be on a monthly rotation.
