    PSU connector 'tightness' ?

I got a new 700w superflower PSU, and I noticed that the SATA connectors on this this are really, really tight compared to my old corsair PSU. It almost feels like it will strip the gold prongs off the connector if I hotswap the HDs too many times. The corsair SATA connectors still...

    ARC100 racking up gigs

If you have the pagefile on the SSD, best to move that to a spindle drive. If you have firefox, that constantly updates its database, so, move that to a spindle drive as well. Hit ctrl+ left shift + esc, under performance tab, hit 'resource monitor' at the bottom. Then click the disk tab, and...

    Petitioning for 970 Refund

Wow Kyle & Brent, this is a PR problem ? A major hardware manufacturer flat out lied about what their product was capable of. It tried to pass off a 970 as a slightly undercut 980 with the specs they gave all the review sties. It really has no bearing to the facts that this site tested...

    Petitioning for 970 Refund

Yeah, those threads had their fair share of trolls/fanboys, but then again, so have many other threads on here. Problem now is locking topics without saying why gives people the impression that someone is pulling strings to get them locked. Could it be Nvidia's PR team letting the hounds...

HardOCP looking into the 970 3.5GB issue?

They need to state what they are doing/waiting for. A simple "We are looking into it" is enough for now. Staying silent screams of Nvidia is doing everything they can to hide this issue. If that means going after sites by blacklisting if they don't tote the company line, like they have...

    GTX 970 flaw

Of course they knew... they just didn't want anyone else to find out, since they KNEW it was going to be a issue.

    GTX 970 flaw

Sheesh. And ya, I am sure the 970 is great, until you start using more than 3.5GB, then, it isn't as great. Nvida wasn't forthcoming with the facts, now they need to make the customer happy via refunds or credits. I guess I was correct, lots of 970 owners are PO'ed about this...

    GTX 970 flaw

Ugh. Hopefully, in the next few days, Nvidia can contact all their partners, and straighten this mess out.

    GTX 970 flaw

Don't think he was lying... since he posted this: http://forums.anandtech.com/showpost.php?p=37121946&postcount=1 Maybe they are getting hammered with all the PMs from PO'ed 970 owners... who knows. Meeho & Starrbuck, Do'h, missed that. These threads just get too darn big too quickly.

    GTX 970 flaw

They are... I wonder why a Nvidia person hasn't come forward yet on this forum ? Heck, why hasn't ]-[ made a story about this yet either ? http://forums.anandtech.com/showpost.php?p=37120512&postcount=280 is another example, and yes, people that have bought it on newegg ARE getting...

    GTX 970 flaw

About the only thing good to come out of this mess is, Nvidia people are helping people get refunds/credits on their 970 cards, if they really want a refund/credit. It is just too bad it took so long, since, this should have been their response out of the box...

Far Cry 4 Key Revocation Follow-ups

How is that classy ? More like stupid. You don't reward criminal behavior. People should only buy games from reputable places, not on fleabay from a unknown user or forums that have a for sale section where you don't know the person, or anywhere else. All this to save a few $$$, and they got...

Government Reverses On Health Care Privacy Problem

Whit, not white, slight difference... :p And, if you bring it to their attention, most people DO care about it. They are just brain dead until someone points it out to them.

    Google Introduces “No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA”

It is a pre-signup type of thing it seems. The first time you see it, you enter in some data, then every time after that, you click on an option, with no data needed. I doubt this will stop bots, since they will just throttle the attempts to some number that doesn't trip the risk analysis.
