Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
If anyone's got an extra guest pass they don't have a use for, I'd appreciate it if they sent it my away.
edit: nevermind, got one from "free" (steam name). thanks man!
Title pretty much says it all. I'm looking for a 2010 or newer Macbook Pro 15-inch that's in excellent condition. Small surface scratches on bottom/sides ok, no dents though and no screen damage, please. PM me if you're looking to sell!
So I just recently discovered that my trusty old Ultra100 TX2's aren't compatible with Windows 7 despite whatever tricks I try and pull. I had read you could get them working with the Vista driver package for the Ultra133 but I didn't have any luck with that. So, seeing as I still use 6 IDE...
I frequent [H] because I'd like to think that it's a varied collection of opinions and views held by people with actual intelligence and not just a childish sounding board for people who have access to the Internet. It would appear that I'm at least partially wrong, I hate to say. Did anyone...
Just retired a batch of 40/80GB IDE drives that I've had since about 2000. They all still run but they just take up more space than they are worth now haha.
Anyone have an IDE RAID 0/1 controller (PCI) that they no longer need? I'm looking for something that's at least compatible with Windows Vista x64 to try and use in Windows 7.
edit: Finally a thread that will help me clear out a lot of my unnecessary computer stuff! Will try and post stuff soon.
While I remain fairly certain you can mix and match hard drives in a hardware RAID configuration (the smallest drive will determine the array sizing, the slowest drive the array speed), I am leaning towards your proposed solution. It presents the same issue for me that I have now though, even...
Haha, yeah, that's the exact card I was looking at earlier it's just a little more than I'd like to spend. I just dropped a ton of cash upgrading my home server and had to pull all the IDE drives out of it. I decided they're too large to just toss so I started thinking about RAIDing them in my...
Yeah, I'm hoping someone here will know of some bootleg/mod'd drivers for it or maybe a place to look for them. Googling isn't really getting me anywhere. The XP drivers don't work and the Server 2003 64-bit drivers don't work (so close..).
edit: I'm looking for any alternative PCI-based IDE...
Just recently ebay'd myself a MegaRAID i4 card from LSI to setup a RAID5 and RAID1 setup on my desktop (which only has IDE drives now). I didn't do the proper research (doh!) and check for Windows 7 drivers before buying. All I can find is Server 2003 drivers, is there any way to use these or...
I got this deal after a little Googling led me to Great Lakes Computers which, as far as I can tell, seems to cater to small businesses and other corporate clients but that doesn't stop personal online orders either. They offered a 3 year warranty on the refurbished BR10i's (Google cache - I...
I noticed though that you only saw a decrease from 57dba to 50dba - that's still quite loud, I thought silenx fans were much quieter than the deltas.
Which fan controller, if i might ask?
Fairly new owner of a Norco RPC-4220 case here (it's awesome) but I wasn't prepared for how loud this sucker would be. Could someone suggest replacement fans (should I order the 120mm bracket?) for the fan bracket and the case rear? I've seen the silenx recommend for the the rear two 80mm fans...
