Just read your excellent post. So true and precisely put
"When the screen moves almost exactly in time with even the quickest flick of the mouse and without blur to your hand movements it's much more immersive, and musch easier to aim quickly and accurately"
You are not alone. I have been...
I have been trying to find a decent LCD monitor for about 5 years now. Bought quite a few but always sold them after a short while and returned to my old trusted CRT (Samsung 1200NF)
Amongst many I have owned: Nec 20WGX², Hp lp 2475, NEC 24WMGX³, Dell U2410
I have narrowed my requirements...
LCD's are still too bad. Stay with your crt.
Crt 85hz feels much smoother than lcd 120hz
I'm still on my samsung 1200NF 1600 x 1200 85hz
I have owned many of the high end lcd's out there but sold them all as the lcd technology is just so bad it hurts..
Thanx so much for response guys. Might take the plunge and try this one. Hell it could be the first LCD screen that I keep more than a month. Sold all previous and I'm still using my old trusty Samsung 1200NF which is slowly dying :(

Does the powersupply buzz at low brightness like the U2310 and the u2410 does ?
Please don't start a debate. I owned 2 x u2310 and 2 x u2410 send them all back couldn't stand the buzzing.
Thanx for all comments. Seems thread took on a life of it's own

Just bought the dell u2311 as a test. Have been through a hell of monitors HP 2475, LG 26" IPS, NEC 24WMGX3
But I find u2311 just too small and hate the 16:9 aspect.
So Regarding the U3011:
- Concerned about the buzzing sound people talk about. The U2311 is dead silent
- Concerned about the...
