Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Pretty sure he's dead (hope not) or something, no joke. His number is disconnected, and he didn't respond to the Paypal claim I filed, so I got my money back.
I'm looking to do "the mod" on my 7950, but still want to keep some aesthetics. I already have an Antec Kuhler 620, but I want to mount a separate waterblock/VRM heatsinks. Particularly these:

My question...
That's Dwood that I was talking about in the OP. He hasn't fulfilled any orders for around 3 weeks, and has all but disappeared from the community, so there's no telling when I'd be able to get any parts from him. I'm going to need to look elsewhere.
I have a spare H60 that I'm looking to stick onto my reference 7950 in order to get rid of some of that unbearable noise while playing Metro Last Light (can anyone say 83C with 75% fans?).
I know there have been many people to undergo something like this, so I'm just looking for some advice...
I don't have any reason to think he's looking to scam me, I'm just unsure of what the right thing to is regarding my money in this situation. I'm going to go ahead and file a claim. If the seller responds to me before this is over, then I can cancel it. If not, I saved myself some time.
EDIT: I...
I had time constraints on getting the item. Since then I've purchased another. That's not to say that I don't still want the one I purchased from this seller, but I'm currently not seeing it or the money. I can definitely wait before upgrading.
I'm not planning on leaving negative Heat for this. I understand it might just be an issue the seller is dealing with. However, I did need the item in a more or less specific time frame.
Live in Canada, work in Michigan. The seller was shipping to my work.
Back OT.. What should I do if the seller doesn't respond to me by the time the dispute is almost over? As bad as I may feel, I still do need either the item or my money... Should I file a claim?
I didn't think to try that. I e-mailed him to both e-mail accounts associated with his Heatware account: his Paypal email and his personal.
I also have a phone number from him, but since I live in Canada and it appears to be a cell phone number, I'm going to hold off on that because of the...
Being completely honest, I did file a dispute Friday night, and I just was looking to see if I made the right decision. I've still received no response from the seller.
