I moved from Intel Pentium 4 530 to Core 2 Quad 6600, and it was brilliant. The awesome performance is everywhere to taste. You will never regret for upgrading to Q6600.
Q6700 had been discontinued for quite some time. With the same cost, you can buy a Q8200, or you can buy a lower Q6600, which is really the same as Q6700 if you overclock it a little bit.
I believe Intel Core i7 is a very brilliant CPU. The reason why we don't usually see it that way is we have been so familiar with Intel CPU's great power and overclockability. Compare Core i7 with any other CPU at present, it is often the better, but not in games, at lease now.
Core i7 is in...
Lots of X58 Mobo pictures are leaked, and here are two more.

It seems Core i7 will be a great processor for all means.
There it is. With 4850X2 to roll out in market, info upon this chip flies around, and here is one more piece.
AMD has its own set of views upon its upcoming 4850X2, in terms of performance, price, and specification, of course as you have guessed it, all better than any of NVIDIA's...
Well, this is not about any leaked detail of Nehalem. Just a name change Intel had made. You guys must be familiar with every single new feature there will exist in Nehalem, one of them Turbo Mode, which accelerate the core frequency a little bit if other cores stay halt or even closed to fully...
Seen from here. http://uneit.com/2008/09/08/leaked-roadmap-on-nvidias-next-high-end-gt212/ , the next high end NVIDIA card will be GT212 slated for release in the upper half in 2009.
Confusing name it is since it lacks the "X" that was usualy within the name of a high end from NVIDIA, and it...
http://uneit.com/2008/09/05/intel-dual-core-atom-330-performance/
Came across this when googling. Dual core Atom is robust! Now it can be used to accomplish common tasks while being cool:D I hope to get it once available. Home Server PP1 and Dual Core Atom. Just perfect!
It's been a whole year since the G0 stepping rolled out, now you cannot even expect a Q6600 that is not on a G0 stepping. So it's pretty safe to wait for a SLACR.
