Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Tomorrow, I will make the plunge and order $184.46 of cooling/air flow/silencing products. I'll post my results after the "operation".

After i get my HSF i will cleanup inside, There is alot of work to be done in there. Use wire ties on my power cables, and tie them to run down the back side of the case.
I like your sig. I remember straigtening out flattened P1's pins and they would still work without a heatsink at load.
I am looking into ways of getting case temp down, and improving airflow; but getting a better HSF is my first step. (Im not really concerned with anything else besides the CPU [My GPU stays cool with full system load]) I think I'll get Thermalright SP94 and put a nice quiet fan on it. Then...
I don't have any open drive bays for that sort of thing thats why I'm looking for the best HSF. And Thermo Electric Cooling is mostly ruled out because my pci slots are full/blocked.
My system does have BAD airflow. I added 4 HDDs and the case temp&CPU temp skyrocketed. The rear exhaust feels like a ceramic heater. Today I was able to get up to 74C and nothing happened. I Looking to cool this system down and a better HSF is probobly just the first thing I will do. I...
I'm sure that the Raid 5 with 5 disks would be almost twice as fast as the raid 0 with 2. The only downside would be an unnoticable increase in latency ~2-6ms due to parity calculation by HW and higher seek time on larger disks.
I have a Gigabyte GA-8KNXP (1.0) My Cpu (Prescott 3.0ghz) right now is running at 67-72C Loaded. I keep it loaded most of the time too. Lucky it is remaining stable, but i'm fairly certain that it is hurting preformance wise from the heat. (I hit 72C and did not change what I was doing and...
