Had terrible results overclocking with the 1009 bios. I am on the 903 bios right now and am at 2470 mHz on an athlon X2 3800+. Still have a problem with restarting the computer. If I restart the computer goes to reboot but does not start and I have to power off and then back on with the power...
In the bios I enabled the vcore overvolt and set the voltage to 1.425. My temps under load are at 44-45C. My voltage through the asus probe is 1.60 :confused: On cpu-z it reads 1.4V. Its prime 95 stable and seems to be working fine. Am I going to fry this proc at that voltage? Which voltage...
Had the same problem with corrupted downloads and realized that I had installed the nvidia firewall (ActiveArmor) and the network management program (sorry, forgot the name). I uninstalled the nvidia drivers from the control panel and reinstalled. everything works fine now. :D
