Hello everyone. I'm looking for recommendations on a stereo receiver or DAC/AMP to pair with my Def Tech Pro Monitor 800s. I'm looking to spend $200 max. I would like the option to add a subwoofer in the future. What do you guys recommend? This is for my PC, btw. Thanks.
I own a pair of the Super.fi 5 EBs. The bass sounds great with them. I have a few gripes with them though. They're huge for IEMs. Also. the part that goes into your ear canal is kinda big so it's tougher to get a good seal if you have smaller ears. Other than that, they sound great.
I would probably reuse the HDD, the DVD Drive, case, and power supply. The main components (video card, cpu, mobo, etc) I would probably give to my dad, or sell to one of my friends.
Thanks for all the advice guys. I'm looking at 700 dollars for all the parts listed by Enginurd, along with the Corsair PSU. Is 520 Watts enough for this system? All the DVD burners are out of stock so I'll see what I can get at Fry's. Other than that, it looks like a pretty good build for...

I like the sound of the Studiophile AV40s, but I'm thinking about buying a stereo receiver and some bookshelf speakers. Any recommendations?
Thanks Enginurd. The case I bought was the Antec Three Hundred. It was 50 bucks at Fry's Electronics, so I said what the heck, and got it. Are Velociraptor Drives worth getting? I was thinking about getting the 150 GB one, and then reusing it once I build a new rig next year.
