    Silverstone SST-FT03-Mini (Mini-Itx)

Understood - may need some tape to seal off the other areas that air can escape around the shroud to make it work; that said the hot air that escapes out the bottom will come straight back in through the 140mm fan wouldnt it?

I was thinking the same thing actually - make some fine holes in the side of the case where the fan intake is and use some foam tape to build it up so the GPU fan only takes in fresh air. However for ease Ill cop it on the chin and go an evga gtx670...Palit and gainward used to make some with...

It's too long :( That's the hard bit, combining cooler type plus length..harder again if you don't live in the USA where certain brands aren't available. Paul

Understood, evga 660ti or 670 it is. Just looking at my other options given the nvidia cards are an extra $100 for the same performance. Paul

Whats everyones thoughts on how this GPU would cool in this case? Paul http://www.hisdigital.com/un/product2-699.shtml or any of the sapphire 7850's? look to be more "closed" http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=1&gid=3&sgid=1160&pid=1672&psn=&lid=1&leg=0

OpenSolaris derived ZFS NAS/ SAN (OmniOS, OpenIndiana, Solaris and napp-it)

Anyone seen the problem where you cant set nbmand to off either via the gui or cli? Via the gui I get the pop up but nothing happens, via the cli it accepts the comment but a zfs get all shows nothing has changed. Any ideas?

Anyone know of a suitable ati 7870 card with the correct style of cooler? I am struggling to find one in AUS. Otherwise its a evga gtx 660 (or ti if I can convince myself). Thankyou Paul

Thankyou, I ordered the case, psu, cooler, optical drive and a few bits today so I should be able to see what you're talking about by the weekend. Paul

    Silverstone SST-FT03-Mini (Mini-Itx)

Anyone know if the h80i will fit using only the stock 140mm fan? If yes will I be able to fit a fan ontop of the radiator and still keep the optical with little modification? Or would it require major modification to a point that its not worth keeping the optical? Only want to keep an optical...

Hopefully the piping on the 2013 model makes a bit of a difference in that regard.. will let you know when I pull the trigger how it works. Paul

Thankyou for that. Just googling for images and it seems the h60 would be a mod free cooler in terms of its back plate with this motherboard. In regards to modify the optical mount is it just removing the two tabs that stick down towards the bottom of the case or is there more to it...

    Silverstone SST-FT03-Mini (Mini-Itx)

Hi all, I've been though this thread and would like some clarification. I am planning to put together a system with this case, the asrock z77 Mobo, intel 3750k, optical drive, 16gb corsair ram, evga gtx 660 and 2.5" ssd. So just to confirm, the st45sf is the psu I want and not the gold...

OpenSolaris derived ZFS NAS/ SAN (OmniOS, OpenIndiana, Solaris and napp-it)

Thanks Jim, Was working on something similar from the cli; i couldnt figure out why they kept dropping off until I checked my jobs and noticed a chmod 777 on this folder which was wiping out the ACLs. Ive now set it at the command line with a /usr/bin/chmod -R...

Hi all, I am struggling with giving full windows pc access to a zfs folder with full permissions - ie no username/password on connection and full access/inheritance to new and existing data. I have been reading a bit and have tried the following: Confirmed devices are all on WORKGROUP Ensure...
