Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Umm, what? I can't speak to the veracity of the rest of your point with regards to Nvidia's DC backlog as I haven't been really been keeping up there. But on the consumer side, the 90 series, at least what we can see publicly and in the NA market, haven't been the best supplied cards at all...
Asus released a BIOS update to adjust the fan curves which apparently makes the noise output in line with other models.
Also, Best Buy has both open box *and* new 5080s in stock for almost 12 hours now.

Yeah, FYI I noticed Asus actually posted another LEGO update just this week. These LEGO updates are supposed to target the issues with active TB cables, etc according to what I saw on Asus's forums.
I'm doing a new build with the Asus ProArt X870E board as well and USB4/TB3 support is important to me. According to the following Reddit thread, this seems to be an issue with how Asus has chosen to implement it. Because users with other boards, such as the MSI X870E Godlike or the Gigabyte...
Aside from what Sycraft said, it also needs to be pointed out that the PC monitor versions of OLED, be it QD-OLED or WOLED, do not typically get as bright as their larger TV counterparts. This is true even for the smallest window sizes, such as 1%-10%. So looking at a G4, S95D, etc will...
Nvidia seems to be prioritizing thermal design and volumetric efficiency. Hence, their coolers tend to be pretty small relative to the AIBs and cool pretty decently.
Apparently, it's not just the FE as someone reportedly saw this on an Asus ROG Astral card as well:

Also, report of another burnt connector. Trying to get the source link.
Yeah I forgot to mention they got those discounts as well. I think their all-in price was around $1,070 taxes included. What a far cry from the $3K 144Hz Pg32UQX. I actually wanna see higher zone count FALD monitors now since the price has come down so much. Between the MiniLED and OLED...
My friend and cousin managed to get the Neo G9 at the following price. January 2024 manufacturing dates. Only issue they've experiencing so far is flickering with G-Sync enabled so far.
Man, the fact that these boards are ~$900 but are packed to the brim with actual tech shows how much of a rip off the motherboards are in the regular desktop space. Consumer AM5 and Z790 motherboards for $1K+ with half the featureset is just ridiculous. Yes, I know there are reasonably...
Not going to be able to explain how the 12 bit option operates but something else to consider. Apparently, according to a German review site and maybe one other place, even the 10 bit mode on the PG32UQX works up to 120 Hz (or maybe 100Hz? I forget). After that, it's 8 bit + FRC.
All I can...
I can only guess as to why Asus lowered it in the later revisions. Maybe they thought it was uncomfortable for the average user. Because getting hit with even 1,000 nits is really eye-searing. I end squinting when I get flash banged in The Division 2 because it's so bright at 1,600 nits.
If I recall correctly, RDR2 does allow you to specify the peak brightness via nits as well. I'd have to double-check since it's been a while. Not sure about the others as I haven't played them yet although I think BF2042 also does it.
Now here is where it gets tricky. The peak Fullscreen...
