i was a little confused with where this thread should be. if the mods feel it shouldn't be here then i don't mind it being moved. yeah, picking between only those 2 was by choice.

what do you think of these 2 companies OVERALL, and which do you think is doing a better job? a few pointers to help you think: -- products, their quality & performance -- prices -- the image you have of the company -- what they're doing for the scene in general (for events, support etc.)...

actually, I will be using the DVI connection for my PC and the HDMI one for the X360, but what i need the VGA connection for is to use it with the laptops at home. i occasionally have to hook them up to a bigger display, and they only have VGA out so VGA is the only way i can connect them.

k, thanks. the monitors are decent, it'll be cool if you can suggest something better. i just found out that the Acer GD245HQ has all that i need along with 120Hz. makes me glad, but i also found out that it has defects for almost half of its users. anyone here have the monitor?
