Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I'm running a GTX 2080 with a Xeon 5650 on water. 4.4ghz 24/7. I game in 4k for the most part and I can say that there is no bottleneck. In fact most games consume ~20% of all cores under load (far cry 5 max settings). Which other games are you curious about, I'll try them.

Kind of cool. Have a gigabyte RTX 2080 windforce with an EK WB strapped on. Will be trying this bios tomorrow and benching.
Hi all
Reviving this thread from the dead. I am presently using a 2310 with 4x 3tb drives in raid 5. This controller has worked really well for me for years. OCE allowed me to upgrade my array from 4x 1.5tb drives one at a time to 3tb drives.
I am on an x58 Sabertooth board (tylersburg...
Hey everyone. My faithful gigabyte x58 ud4p crapped out on me the other day. I deconstructed my loop in my 800d. Mounted the oem heatsinks and couldn't get it to boot for me on a testbench. Its a gonner. Ive applied for an RMA with gigabyte to see if they have something comparable in their...
Great suggestions, guys. I passed them along to my friend and he might try them. There's probably marginal performance difference between 667 with tighter timings that the board is forcing and 800 at stock timings.
Hey Guys. Helping out a friend upgrading an older AM2+ system upgrade.
He has dropped in a 95watt x6 cpu that works with the latest bios update and 4x4gig cp6400 dimms.
This is the board:

How is everyone missing that netflix is pushing a compressed codec of sorts for 4k house of cards on a 25mbps stream? That kind of bandwidth is reasonable to me.
The video quality destroys any 1080p bd content. Im not discrediting the fact that tech improves as time progresses but 4k is here...
Just like to chime in here guys. Seems to be much misinformation going on.
I just picked up a 55'' 4K samsung set and i got it for about $1200 from costco.
It does do 4k at 60hz 4:4:4 and it looks apesh*t.
It does support hdmi 2.0 on all 4 of its imputs and is getting along swimmingly...
