    Dell U3011 coming soon.

Does the interface input matters on input lag? I've read dual-dvi is native monitor signal input, so less processing and less input lag than DP / HDMI. Any thoughts in this regard?

    "Full HD 3D" & DisplayPort 1.2

Im not talking generic 3D, but "FullHD3D" (3D@1080p24) for 3D BR movies; and as long as I know, for capable tvs (HDMI 1.4), the only way to stream this signal is "Frame Packing" which is only HDMI 1.4 compliant. Not sure if this card is able to output it from a DisplayPort 1.2 with any kind...

    "Full HD 3D" & DisplayPort 1.2

Quick and simple question. If I buy a GPU (ASUS EAH6950 DirectCU II) with no HDMI outs, just DisplayPort 1.2; will I be able to output a "3D FullHD" (3D@1080p24) signal to a 3Dtv (or A/V processor) with HDMI 1.4 inputs? Im not talking about displayort>hdmi adapters here; what I mean, I don't...

    Dell U3011 coming soon.

By cnet review, this monitor has "24p" support, so it may refresh 48Hz natively. Hope they solved the heat problem of previous models.

    Dell U3011 coming soon.

Sorry but you have absolutely no idea about how a monitor works. As long as the frequency dont go over 60Hz. the monitor will take and display the exact frequency the GC outputs. 60Hz, 48, 24, 52... etc WHATEVER. This aspect, entirely relies on the graphic card posibilities, not the monitor...

Why do 16:10 screens seem to be getting so freakin rare

These forums are more for a small percentage of people who are smarter on demanding proper equipment and devices; the majority of consumers just demand what the crappy market and manufacturers wants to sell, this is, shit with high profit margins. The average joe doesnt research, just buy by...

    16:9 vs 16:10

I would buy a mid-decent 16:10 monitor; no need to be that extremely radical. If you neither cant get a mid-monitor, well, buy so the best you can afford, even if its shit. Since theres no other way,
