Well... I knew ECC and Non-ECC wouldn't work together (at least it didn't in my board - Haha I have way too much extra ram just sitting around). I'm trying to find someone willing to trade some non-ECC for this ECC stick and then we'll see what happens for performance.

The share is already setup with a $ and I'm not using 'simple' file-sharing. However, when I go to set permission access, I can only view the users on that particular PC. I cannot add users from another (i.e. my laptop). Anything else I can do?
