Keeps getting better and better. Resetting the PC did nothing but delete the apps on the PC. Same error. Reprofiler can't do anything to an account that doesn't have a password, and I for some reason can't set a password on it anymore, even in the hiren app. I gues that leaves me with but one...
Yeah, I tried that earlier. There was a point from yesterday, but it's not there anymore. It didn't change anything though. Now there's nothing. Guess I'll try the reset, otherwise I'm forced to do a reinstall. That's quite annoying to be honest.
I ran the netplwiz after upgrading to pro. It says I can't change the password, because "The system is not authoritative for the specified account and therefore cannot complete the specified operation" It continues to suggest using the provider associated with the account. Does this mean it's an...
And the desktop folder isn't there. I'm already seeing the hidden folders. The only profile that had a desktop folder is the Admin account I recently unlocked. Could this be the issue that for some weird strange reason my desktop somehow got erased?
I can click on advanced tab, advanced button, but the window that pops up is more or less empty. It says this tool may not be used with this edition of Windows 10? In CMD it says the version of windows is 10? I've been using Windows 11 for a long while now. I've no idea why it says it's Win 10...
Okay, so I manage to at least unlock the admin account, so now I have access to A desktop, although not the one I'm after. I can see my other account under accounts in the settings, but I'm not sure I can really do anything from another account to change it, or setup a pin or anything else.
Okay, so. Manage to boot up Hirens, found some local accounts. One including the name that shows up as my user. I'm still unsure if it's local or not, since I never really chose a username, it's just the first 5 letters of my email account. Tried to change the password, no effect. Tried to reset...
While I'm doing this, I'm curious, do you think a reset through Windows' own troubleshooting would work? I have documents I'd like to keep, but it's my understanding everything but apps should be safe if I choose to keep my files.
If I go to the link you provided, I'm told that I can't use my personal account there. But when I tried to log in before making this thread, I had to get a one time use code sent to an alternate email to login. Otherwise I'm told I've had too many login attempts with incorrect password.
I'll...
About 300 times so far. I believe it's an MS account, but I'm honestly not sure. I don't think I could avoid setting it up when I installed windows 11. There's 2 users though I can choose from, one is definitely MS.
Just woke up to my PC refusing to sign in. It just says "We are unable to connect at the moment. Pleas check your network and try again later".
Writing this from wife's PC, also Windows 11, obviously works just fine and has working internet.
I've tried resetting the password numerous times. It...
