Good point. Only have two of these corsair fan and I'm hesitate to add more fans because want a quiet PC. So far it's been manageable and runs quiet :)

System power peaks at ~580W, so a 750W Gold PSU should be good enough if you don't run a monstrous CPU. Mine is a i7 9700F.
Bought this rig to for mining last December so it's been used for that for about 3.5 months. GPU has been undervolted and was running around 55 C. Fully working condition.

I'm running a server with 2 socket E5 2670. I only benchmarked Cinebench R15 and got 1900 score. Pretty impressive given the price I paid for two CPUs (around 60 bucks each on eBay at the moment).
Sold my X99 desktop before moving to new home.. it was a solid PC for photo editing and gaming, but it's just too big and heavy (fractual R4 case). Plus, my car trunk space is limited
Now my computation gadgets are fully mobile
5820k can be easily overclocked to 4.5GHz, at least from my experience....
X99 motherboards have better VRM and quality in general, because it's HEDT!
Almost doubled L3 cache, soldered TIM, 2 more cores, 4 more threads, Quad channel DDR4
I see no reason to get 6700k, especially if you do more...

Just checked Fry's store and EVERY NEW motherboard has this plastic seals on their box, and possibly the sticker too.
The sales people told me they check against bent pins on every new motherboard. So nothing to worry about.
