i just need to know what will fit in my comp and what will not..

ok i have an hp a1130n dekstop with 1 gig ram and some ati radeon xpress 200 integrated card..now i know i cant run it with that video card but even when im installing the comp just freezes at multi_client.dll or something, if i buy a better video card will it fix this or am i screwed?

hm it was on some energy star setting and i changed it to full power and its at 2.2 now ^^

will it speed up if necessary to accomodate for games and such? b/c i remember going back to it and i checked it right away and it was 987 mhz then i started something and it was 1.77. think thats it? is bios like the setup screen? if i turn off cool n quiet will that possibly hurt my computer?

im sorry, but i dont know too much about computers, can you please explain that or tell me how to switch it back to the stock 2.2?

i just received a new hp with a 64 amd 3500+ proc. it says its 2.2 ghz, but when i check the system info it only says 1.77, now i feel like im getting screwed out of that extra speed, anyone have any info or suggestions?
