Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I noticed something peculiar... I just got this monitor and have the "Standard" and "Ultimate" freesync engine options. When either freesync option is enabled, the monitor will not wake up from sleep. I need to remove and replug in the hdmi cord for it to wake.
However when it's in regular mode...
Thanks for the quick response! Grrr... means I have to switch the two and open up my case again. I have that cheap Micron one I mentioned and then the Samsung 960 EVO currently on top of the motherboard.
I'm trying to get this Micron M600 256GB SATA III M.2 SSD to work on this motherboard.
Is it not compatible due to it being SATA and not PCIE? I didn't think it mattered but maybe I'm wrong?
Thanks.
Same here... I can't hear a thing unless I'm playing a game and that's when the gpu fans kick in. Otherwise it's dead silent - no fans running at all with just normal internet/email etc usage.
Yes I am using the same set up. Two sticks works just fine. They sort of touch but it's ok. No impact to temps or performance. See pic.
edit: I just realized I do have the new TridentZ RGB RAM, so maybe it's ever so slightly thinner than yours?
I can send them to you from the UK. I'm about to order a set. Anyone else want them? I would ship from London and through regular mail.. Might take up to 10 business days to the US.
Finally got my system built. Running a 7700k and evga 1080 SC2 with the new icx cooler.
Getting max temps of around 78c for the CPU and an impressive 63-65c for gpu. Not bad! And have these cool new TridentZ rgb ram in there.
