Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Same problem here. When the electric bill is high it must be the giant glowing PC...
Yeah, anything that creates resistive heat is going to have high power draw, at least while it is on. Many devices like that cycle their heating elements on and off based on demand though, so it's not as if they are constantly pulling power at...
I believe biggest power draw comes from water heaters, the conventional ones, and ovens. You are basically shorting out the power with a low ohm resistor.
I find it amusing that they think of gaming as a major contributor to power bills.
Gaming barely registers as a contributor to our electric bill, even when multiple PC's are running at the same time.
I remember watching my uncle play it few times i visited. Very fond memories.
And nightmares.
He had speakers set up around the room and any time that thing ran around in the ducts wearing adidas(squeaks), I felt it. Probably wasn't healthy...

Thought they were remaking it
Yes. It’s a great way to try out a game before going through the hassle of moving around shit to install a 120GB game. It also lets you use an old Xbox on a spare TV to play current games.
