Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
i attempted to build exactly the same system:
MB: ASUS P8H67-M PRO/CSM or Asus P8P67 Pro
CPU: Intel Core i3-2100T
Raid: Intel RS2WC080 (based on LSI's chipset)
Mobo didn't boot or even display POST screen.. so I'd recommend you to stick with Supermicro. Does anyone know of any...
Ross1: I called both Intel and Asus, they just uselessly kept pointing at each other. Intel said that they can look into compatibility issues only on Intel boards, but that could be more risky than Supermicro. Were you able to get anywhere with P8P67?
Hi, I'd recommend against using H67 based mobos of Asus/Gigabyte. I have acquired Asus P8P67 Pro and it doesn't work with LSI based controller Intel RS2WC080.
Supermicro mobos work well, at least Atom based X7SLA-H - none issues whatsoever. If you are considering buildign a server, get...
I am using Intel RAID card RS2WC080 (using LSI's SAS2008 chip) with SAS expander (RES2SV240). When RAID card is connected to any newer Sandy Bridge motherboards (P8P67 Pro / P8H67-M Pro), POST doesn't come up.
That same card works perfectly with Supermicro's X7SLA-H motherboard.
Please help!
