Coolbits 2 detects 434 core and 1160 memory... everytime I go with "detect optimal settings". It seems quite low... I ran it only at 425 / 1100 and it works fine. Haven't tried higher frequencies yet... but as soon as get my temps go down I will push it... Coolbits2 is not accurate... the manual...
Looks like the 66.00 version isn't that good after all. Of course, it may boost the performance in some games, but that seems to come with a price: stability & IQ. It may also be directly related to people' systems - compatibility issues and such.

I just switched from 6800 GT to 6800 Ultra (Winfast A400 GT TDH to Winfast A400 Ultra TDH by Leadtek). I don't know if that was a smart move, but I had an opportunity, as it didn't cost me too much (trade an old case + PSU as a difference and gave the 6800 GT back to the store)...
I tested the 2x and 4x AA with a small application and it sure works, sot it's not the video card. As you said, it must be in the drivers. With my ex-9800 pro I could tell the difference between no AA and 4x AA. With 6800 GT, there's no difference at all! Thanks for posting. Lets hope the new...
