I'm wondering if I can pull out the crappy OEM mini-PCIe card in there and drop in an intel 8260. The main limitation is that I'd need a NGFF/M2 to miniPCIE adapter but other than that are there any other potential issues? I couldn't see anybody on the internet who'd done it. Cheers

Personally could never go for it just due its size - It's over 30L where there are smaller cases for less BUT phantek do make really really good cases to work in and if you want to do an actual loop on ITX it would be easier to work in plus it's a good price...

The touching is less of an issue than the blocking a RAM slot - The only direction it wont block something else is if I could somehow remove or get a lower heatsink cooler (I think it would need to be about 3mm shorter than current)

I bought one of the AR05 coolers for my Z77E-itx and have been having issues getting it to fit. The way it seems it's meant to go, with the end of the heatpipes pointing towards the PCI-e slot is not possible due to the other side, where the heatpipes loop up touching the chipset heatsink...

That is a full size ATX PSU - 150x140x86, So it's in a different class to the silverstone which is 125x130x64

Can't wait to see the thermal performance stats - the moment of truth! I'd also be interested to get some info on the noise levels especially with the base intel cooler - It can get quite loud but in this situation with pretty decent airflow it might fare better.

Make sure you go through /r/buildapc etc with the campaign... there are some massive communities that I am sure would be keen and you could pick up some extra traction with. IDK if this could be as big as the NCase but I hope so. It's definitely just as, if not a more impressive piece of design...
