ok i downloaded the drivers and software and i set the speaker settings in creative software to 7.1 (which i have) and sound still only comes out the front right and left speakers.

forgot to mention, i dont have the cd. but im getting the ones off creative's site and im hoping that's going to work

hey i need a program to convert .rm (real media) to avi/mpeg/divx and a program that compresses dvd rips (.vob) to the formats mentioned above (avi/mpegs/divx) but maintains good quality. it would be nice if they were free as well thanks

go with the cheaper ram, unless you plan to run dual channel, id go 4x512mb. and if you plan on upgrading to 4gigs sometime soon, then go with the 2x1gb

i LOVE my MSI. i upgraded and have all new mobo, cpu, memory, gfx card and i had no problems at all. but if you go dual channel, put the memory modules in the FIRST two DIMMS (1 & 2)

i hooked up th e ones on the side to the front channel jacks and the sides ones do work. its just when i have the default setup and everything set to 7.1 surround sound i have no sound.
