True and False. You are right about software making SSE4 usefull but most media encoding will improve by 50 percent. I can confirm that since I have ran these tests on a Penryn mobile and desktop CPU compared to the merom CPUs.

I think you might be right. I have to look into it more. I don't think the Klipsch sub/amp is fully powering the speakers. Its sending majority of the low sounds through the sub. Even thought the speakers are full range The amp might have a cutt off for lower frequencies, I am not sure how to...

Yes you got that right. The reason why this is the case is because of the placement of the PSU.
