I had a laptop that did this a few years ago. It was indeed a USB short-circuit. The motherboard somehow protected itself by shutting power off, thus rebooting or completly shutting down the computer. Did this with ANY USB device I plugged in. Check visually your port...
I've been using ASUS motherboard for my last 4 builds. Always been rock solid with no problems at all. Last 3 gfx cards ? ASUS again. Latest being R9 290 OC II.

Yesterday I plugged my new R9 290 with my new Asus PB278Q. Everything is wonderfull and all excepts for a weird behavior I have never seen before.

Same here, no problem yet except I had to work a bit to make the Wi-Fi work. I had to use the WSS(QOSS) button on my TP-LINK router to make it work. I don't know why but the PS4 kept telling me that my password was wrong.
Played for a few hours yesterday. All good.
And... where are the cameras ?? Crew ??
