hey elvito would you take the turtle beach over the m-audio then or vice versa. i'm considering those 3 cards too but not sure which one to get. don't plan on spending too much either (40-50). i'm going to be using it mostly for games and movies and i have a 5.1 speaker setup.

hey guys i have a 9800 pro that is freakin loud. i'm a newbie so i feel nervous about replacing the fan but is there anything i can do about this or is it normal? it's loud compared to the fan on my dell 400sc. i guess i can't expect whisper quiet but any suggestions would help. thanks-

i have a dell 400sc that has an integrated sound card and i noticed that when i play certain games (in my case richard burns rally - great game btw) that after a couple of car crashes that the sound suddenly sounds really low and slightly in "slow motion." don't know how else to describe it...

definitely not as "pretty" as MCE so you'll be disappointed there. i'm sure there are some skins to make it look better. the most similar looking thing i've found is media portal - i've had it for a while and i find it extremely difficult to configure. but it's the most similar to MCE in...

i'm looking at my pvr-150 options (some software option called primary) and for the video display mode i have selected "allow overlay" and not allow vmr (if i had selected it i would have to choose b/w vmr7, vmr9 or either). any other ideas?

hi does anybody know what's going on if i'm using an s-video out to my tv w/ my ati 9800 pro but even though i can see my desktop, any video i play w/ windows media player or the wintv software (for the pvr-150) just comes out as a black screen. basically no movies/video come out on the TV...

media portal looks awesome but like the man said...i can't get the tv working either. but then again i don't even know how to get the tvguide thing working or where to get the file. if i got that working though that program would be sweet - you just gotta have the time and patience to deal w/...

yeah i haven't watched my recordings on the tv yet - friend was saying it'd look better that way too but i guess i'm wondering how ppl get such good quality on those tv episode rips you can download via bit torrent 'n the like. not dvd quality but at least the images are smooth during playback...
