ASUS Z87 Motherboards - Overview, Guides and Official Support

Hi there. Been eyeing the Maximus VI HERO for quite some time but only just recently heard that it's somewhat trickier overclocking your CPU than it otherwise is. Is that true? What exactly does this entail, if true? I thought you only had to change your multiplier, vcore and then enable X.M.P...

    PSU for Fractal Node 304?

Thanks for the tips, I appreciate it. I took a look at some threads on the internet and found these two pictures: http://i.picpar.com/8Pp.jpg http://i.picpar.com/9Pp.jpg. That's an AX 760i stuffed into a Node 304 with a GTX 780 so I suppose it would work out alright? I just wonder how it'd be if...

    PSU for Fractal Node 304?

Good points but I have heard that Haswell is really power hungry when in LOAD and overclocked but I'm not 100% sure about this. I suppose I could make do with something like 450W but I don't know of anything that has enough connectors for the GTX 780. = /

    PSU for Fractal Node 304?

I was thinking of the AX 760i as I've seen someone squeeze one in but I'm unsure of how well it'll work out with MDPC sleeving...

Can't decide on a SFF system.

It'll be for general usage which includes playing games. I really only need one GPU as I'm not planning on going SLI/XFIRE any time soon and I definitely won't need a sound card as I've already got some external pieces. Yeah, I read on SweClockers by an ASUS representantive that they were...

Can't decide on a SFF system.

I can’t for the love of god decide if I want to use mATX or mITX. The reason for wanting to go mATX is because of the Gigabyte Z87 mATX motherboard and the reason for wanting to go mITX is because of the rumoured Asus Z87 mITX ROG motherboard. I’m fairly sure that the deciding factor in all this...
