I think it's a driver issue. I think your drivers bung, but you haven't pm'd me to see when you want to get together and do that.

I've never had an ASUS part break or fry...Or even have driver problems. Everything just works. From the moment I plug it in. Even so that's why I buy from Newegg. So they can deal with it.

I have the ASUS and love it. You should consider due to the motherboard you're buying Comaro. Though I hope the driver set will work for you. Get with me before 5PM Alaska time and I will correlate how to get those drivers to you. Thinks he knows what the problem is.

I would say the 4870. That's just my flavor though. From what I hear the 4870 is a hair faster then the GTX260. Though they both seem to be nice cards. You can use anything on a 22" monitor; pretty much. I would say just wait save the extra bones and buy the 4870X2.

I did with my 2600XT every now and then when it went into standby it would seem like my system would just hang. It'd run, but wouldn't come back. I believe it had to do with a screen saver I installed that came with the card. Earthsim.

My card does this and works perfectly fine. I get a red LED maybe it's because it's oc'd a by 60mhz?

Cards bad/Mobo's bad. If they sent you a new board. I doubt its the Video Bus. Test the card again, do you have another card to test in the PCX slot? Possibly a differant video adapter or card will work. Just to help narrow it down to the board or the card. I personally have never had a problem...
