    I had tried the RCA route (with mini-adapter) but there was a tone of noise with that solution. Is 30 ft too long (i.e., is that the cause of the noise)? Would it be different if I had a sound card with true RCA out? Would the digital coax be better (I have a SB 5.1 which I believe supports...
