Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
That's fair, I did reply to an old post.
I stated that objectification/dehumanization of living people is wrong so it would apply to woman in this case. A car is not a living being, so objectification is not so much an issue. Objectification/dehumanization is what often leads to things such as...
I use words that have changed meaning, and if the change is necessary or works better for communication, whatever. I'm arguing that "woke" is a term that does not need to be changed by Republicans trying to turn it into some kind of curse word, it has a meaning that still applies today just as...
I didn't necro the thread, scroll up past my post.
Words have meaning, if those meanings change too much then where does that leave us? We might as well speak gibberish like animals or something if we don't have a high level of integrity and consistency in our language.
Who looks to AI for...
First, stop watching propaganda news from Fox, and stop equating "woke" with lies. You are an adult, right? It's clear that you can't do research to understand the origin of a thing. Wokeness became a thing back in the 1920's with black folks telling each other to stay woke, in other words, be...
I already replied, but after thinking about it more, I think a single, or pair, of larger gauge wires would be easy enough to bend because fine strand wire is easier to bend (as opposed to larger AWG strands = fewer strands and stiffer), plus you have a lot less jacket wrapped around 12 smaller...
It would be possible to double the voltage to 24 volts DC and then adjust the power managing components to support that change, but then you have the issue of another voltage that needs to be produced by PSU, a separate, special connector for +24 VDC, so it would get complicated quickly. They...
12 AWG stranded or the fine battery wire type strands, is not hard to bend. Heavier wire will handle bending better than light gauge wire. I work in the cellular industry where I have had to deal with battery wire, radio wiring, etc for DC current applications.
I wonder if using a single 10 or 12 AWG stranded wire plus a single return wire and maybe some sense wires would be a better solution because a single heavier gauge wire and a solid way to connect it snugly is all you need instead of a wide 12v 2x6 connector. Sure, two larger wires would be less...
I think $500 or less for this card is good, despite the rather low MSRP for the 9070 and 9070XT at $550 and $600 respectively at launch, but given RAMpocalypse and AI gobbling chips up, anything less than $500 for this card is good IMHO!
You're fine! I'm not seeing 5070's that cheap, a person's mileage will vary with their geographic location. FSR 4.1 is nearly as good as Nvidia. AMD needs to catch up with ray regen and other such things to be more competitive, but they have incentive since they are supplying CPU/GPU for next...
