Shouldn't both monitors be run in the same resolution? Ie, 2560x1600 on both? I know this is hard to achieve on a CRT; but I know I got conflicting results when I ran an input lag test on my Eizo SX2761W with the CRT running in a different resolution than the LCD. With both in 1920x1200 I got...
Exactly the same experience with the W3000H's little brother, the W2600HP. The first one I got had awful backlight bleed, and the second one I got after RMA had, like yours, a huge area of suck subpixels. Like you I gave it up, and bought an Eizo instead, and I couldn't be happier. Seems like...
Isn't it pretty common for monitors these days to have funtion in the menu where you can turn it off? I know the LG W2600HP I had for a few weeks had it, and my current Eizo SX2761W does too. like the OP I can't stand bright blue leds, so being able to turn it off is a godsend!
Hah well, the thought has struck me. But I've spent alot of money shipping these things back and forth now (they're big and heavy) so I think I'm gonna call it quits before I get really angry. If I could get one locally I would definitely do that, and that way I could probably get one that's...
Or even go completely bananas with the Eizo SX2761W. Been reading Prad's review of this thing and I think I have found my dream monitor. It has everything I want, and even a low input lag of 22ms, and that's with using the same S-PVA panel as the Samsung 275T and Dell 2709W. The price is a bit...
The Dell 2707 I can't find for sale anywhere (discontinued?). I would love a 2709 and I would most likely have gotten one if it wasn't for the dreaded input lag. It's a shame because except for that the 2709 looks like a superb screen! I play a fair amount of games so I'd like the input lag to...
I'm not going to RMA it, I'm sending it back on the 14 day-money back guarantee that is applied to all e-tailers by law here in Norway. Much quicker and less trouble than with an RMA.
When I get my money back I'm probably going to get a different screen. This is my 2nd W2600HP that has...
Another option is to step down to 24", where the NEC MultiSync 24WMGX³ suddenly becomes an option. I have to say it's tempting to get something that has proper blacks, good backlight uniformity and close to no input lag. I'll lose 1,5" in the process, though.
Any thoughts?
Thank you for your input.
You don't happen to know to know what the difference between those two panels is, if any? As for the input lag, I just can't get any wiser. Prad reports 33ms average, but I've seen alot of posts on this forum where people complain over that it's very bad? Have you...
After discovering a bunch of stuck subpixels on my LG W2600HP, which I just got back from RMA as the last unit I had had excessive backlight bleed, I'm thinking of sending it back for a full fefund. I don't think I want to be a part of this silly LG panel lottery -- their QC is just...
