Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Yep, this is what i've come to also. I haven't built a new pc in a long time and for some reason I thought I read that they could do both, but looks like they have to put a chip on the board for SLI support.
Oh well, guess it's time to get rid of the 8800 GTs and upgrade, probably to a single...
Looks like this ASRock P67 board may just not support SLI. I was always under the impression it didn't really matter but evidently that's not the case.
I emailed ASRock and I bet they come back and tell me it won't work.
Maybe, I have another but it's a hard PCB type and won't fit, i'll have to order another online.
The one i'm using is a MSI branded one but that shouldn't matter as far as I know.
ASRock doesn't mention SLI support but I was under the impression they can really only advertise one or the other...
Yes, I have a SLI bridge installed.
This board only has 2 PCI-E slots a 16x and 4x. For what it's worth my brother built the exact same machine except with ATI 6850's in crossfire and his works without a problem.
Heres a screen shot of the nvidia control panel.
I updated the bios on the board...
Alright folks, it's been awhile since I posted here but i'm running out of ideas on this.
It seems lots of people have issues with no SLI option under Nvidia Control panel, well i'm having the same issue but have tried everything I have been able to find via searching forums and the internet...
Your last sentence is right, it doesn't appear that comcast is wanting to charge by traffic type, they just want to re-negotiate their peer agreement since its clear comcast will be receiving much more traffic from level 3.
Level 3 thinks they can just start sending tons more traffic to...
While comcast may be "evil" to some, they are right, this is just a peering agreement dispute.
Comcasts current agreement with level 3 is 50/50, meaning they both send/receive equal amounts and neither party has to pay the other as long as its 50/50.
Now that level 3 will be developing...
Happens to TW Cable also, in rural areas. Its usually not hunters shooting the lines just to shoot them, but because they are trying to shoot the doves sitting on them.
Well, I don't know if it was modded or not, i'm just gonna swap the PCB to the new drive and see what happens. If its banned i'm gonna split it up and recoup my money and go out to buy an elite :p
