So, why not show the guy the programs to use to proove himself rather than automatically resorting to insults? But, yeah, I agree, with just the ihsp, it should run waay hotter.
Maybe his cpu already died which is why he hasn't come back :p
Well, all he has to do is download Gimp and CPU-Z, both of which are free, run them both, hit CNTRL+ALT+Print Screen and host the pic at imageshack.
I showed how it was possible to host a pic with what programs for proof, now it is just up to him...if you guys haven't chased him away.
If...
Granted I have an Artic Freezer and am using AS5 thermal paste, but using speed fan 4.26 is shows quite clearly that fan 2, my cpu fan is not spinning and my cpu is under 40c, with my 3000+ at 2.5ghz using stock voltges.
So, bare, with just the heat spreader, it may be possible to be at 46c...
If he does have a heat spreader, everyone of you guys flamming him owes him an apology for being a bunch of know it alls.
I say, with the proper heatsink, it is possible, with proper case air flow, for a Venice to do that because it has happened to me because my fan has stopped spinning in...
Do you still have a heatsink on it? Having no fan that is quite possible if you still have a heatsink on it. You said HSF. Or, are you just running it bare? That sounds crazy. I suppose it is possible with a Venice because they run so cool, but I don't see why you would want to do that. On...
Well, the new 512mb GTX will give the XT a pwning of enormous proportions, and is going to be available in quantities before the XT is on top of it.
I could care less about this card now.
Well, atleast you guys are professional enough to apologize for your mistake. However, I agree with the poster above....you should have figured out what the problem was before going to press with the review rather than blaming the ATI chipset prematurely based on your previous personal dislike...
Actually, this GT pwns that one:

470/1.1 clocks, 24/7 tech support, true lifetime warraty, and cheaper. No contest
It depends on how high you want to overclock. I can get to 2.3 stable at stock voltages. From there to 2.5ghz, I am fine at 1.45v (stock for my 3000+ is 1.4v). If I go above 2.5ghz I need 1.5v, and at my highest clock of 2.7ghz, I need 1.6v to get stable.
I prefer the bios myself too...
Its about time they addressed the crap the gaming industry is putting on shelves these days. Crap titles like GTA have done nothing but bring the industry down and threaten its crediblity.
I have my 3.2 OC'd to 3.71 and right now, running stock with Antec Silver 5, and lapped stock heatsink, and case open, I am at 36c according to MBM 5. Before I sanded down my heatsink and was used the supplied heat paste with my case closed, I was around 46 idle. Your temps are fine...
Digital vibrance brightens the colors and makes blue bluer and red reder so forth and so on. I usually run mine on low, but I don't have quams with the default. It will not affect game performance, so give it a whirl.
