thanks i thought so just wanted to make sure, I just wonder what kind of quality control swiftech has... Two in the past few months that we know of. They might want to think of changing the design or manufacturing process.
ok update I used my air compressor and blew out some trapped water behind the connectors and a hair dryer for the last 2 hours and its bone dry... Test booted it without a heat sink and it came on. I immediately shut it back down to prevent over heating damage as I have no method of cooling...

my mind is made up now I'm going with the 3000+ and OC the heck out of it. With the xtra cash I'm going to put it towards a second 6600GT for my neo4 SLI. This isnt my thread but thanks mucho for the input. When I get it running I'll post with results.
wow I'm in the same boat I just got my MSI NEO4 sli in, and I'm trying to decide on a cpu. Heres what I read on the cpu's at www.anandtech.com

well after reading some reviews and your advice I have decided on the MSI Neo4/SLI board. Its supposed to be really great for overclocking, which is the direction I intend to head. Thanks for the help guys. I will keep you updated as things come in.
after looking over the specs Ive decided to go with just the plain aa8xe IF... I decide to go intel the AMD's seem to have the edge over the Intel chips from what I've read today
only problem with the MSI is I've already bought a 6600 GT PCI express card, and its agp. One way or another I'm probably going to buy one of those boards in the next few days.
I have read the thread on the fatal1ty, however the question is how would it stack up against with the AMD board and cpu I selected. Its tough business selecting a MB especially when its all the money you have in the world. Keep the opinions coming and thanks again for your time.

The case is a enermax 5189 with 7 fans and plenty of cooling. The power supply is a ultra x connect 500w. The hard drive I purchased is a...
