My Soc. sec. # got stolen from a site. How Do I keep anyone from using it to get a credit card or opening a account in my name?
 
Lock your credit. You may be able to request a new ssn, but not sure how that all works, and I think they can still open accounts with the old one. Good luck!
 
The site it was gotten from is the company who made my pacemaker. It should have been secure. Is there an easy way to tell if anyone is trying to use my ss#? I can only have 1 bank account so that is good.

Very sorry to hear that. Beware, you can only change social security number a limited number of times(if it comes to that).
