By Amazon JP, ordered for grins and giggles, not a third party scam seller far as I can tell. Having some spare RAM can't hurt?

Curious if it ships and comes on time, only local taxes and free shipping for me (on prime).

No Expo support and somewhat loose timings. Are these the Chinese module versions?

Possibly, wonder if they work on AMD systems at all? If not , may just cancel

XMP is an Intel standard, Expo is the AMD equivalent, however most AMD motherboards are still able to read XMP profiles. The only catch is, will it be stable at those XMP speeds in your AMD board? Expo profiles tend to be more tailored toward AMD boards. But with these loose timings, I doubt that there will be an issue.

All prices now over $450, so nice score if your deal was legit. (y)

Will just wait and see what happens, may use them for a spare build or offload them here. Don't need more in my main system. Could work well with a cheap 7500/600 x3d build since these processors don't care much about ram speed, even base 4800 should be decent.

I wonder if they'll be better than my 5600MHz SO-DIMM's that are in adapters and run at 5000MHz.

This is absolutely $%#$% ridiculous for ram prices--$15/GB?!!?
But but but AI is changing the world, the ROI is magnificent, AMD/INTC/MU/SNDK and even HDDs WDC/STX wil hit ATH tomorrow, truly no limit to AI's wonders 😁😁😁 US plebs can pay 4k for a 5090 and 1k for 64 GB of ram so Elmo can go to Mars and Altman can scam some more...

Should be here this week, probably test it out or just put up for sale here. Want to build a 250k plus based spare build but don't have the time or use case for it between my desktop and laptop.
