I keep my 3090 vram junction temperature at around 100c which gives about 102mh/s. Have not gotten around to making a new backplate from the crap one EVGA installed on the XC3 Ultra which should allow me to push it more. ETH price may explode further before imploding, unless the dollar keeps imploding and reserve currency status is lost.
Eh? You should be doing more then 102. I am doing 101 on a 3080.
I am limiting it for fear of burning it up. Hits 110c with these settings with no case side on and a box fan blowing into it.

Yes I can, just keeping the junction temperature in check below the 110c limit. Doing this on purpose, I don't push the max rates anyways on any of my cards doing mining.
That $50 is only meaningful if cashed at that value. Could be higher if ETH price continues to go up and up and up or just plain out crash making that $50 into something less. The true value in other words can only be determined when converted, in other words once converted, it could really be $5 or $500. If one cashes out routinely then those values have some value.
Well my 3090 was terrible, limited to around 90mh/s at 104c, redid the backside pads twice and added heatsinks. The backplate is pure cheap trash for cooling, easily bent and no real force or support to get the pads having good contact with the backplate which at that area has a big hole around the GPU area with only the thin sides of the backplate giving anykind of pressure. Anyways most 3090's backside vram cooling have been rather weak. Since the 3080 is cooled by the cooler, that is amazing the manufacturers did not ensure good contact with the cooler if they did at all.
Aftermarket backplates could be a thing EK or others do to help the shortcomings.
Wow, best I've been able to get out of mine is 96...memory doesn't clock terribly high on mine, though. What clocks are you running and what mining software? Guessing you must have some great overclocking memory.
I am running at +1500 using NH.
Msi goes to +1500 but It crashes or just sow mem clocks when I set it there
Wow, nice. Mine doesn't like much over +900, so that would definitely explain the difference.
I can do +1650 using evga precision. I am fine backing it back some instead of pushing the memory to it's limit.
If I could 104c consistent without the portable ac blowing into the card I would run it all out, but I backed it down some again.Yeah, my 3080 does +1525, and will max around 103.2MH/s with monitors turned off. Memory stays around 104C. Enjoying the surge... making about $60/day with the 5 GPU's going (the 3080 is about 40% of that). Pre-tax, this rate could take care of my rent and car payment
