What is happening!? My 3070 made $14 today since I checked this morning.

This based on purchases paid with etherium, or stock value/trading?

3080 in the house with AC on is hitting thermal limit if I dont power limit. Limiting to 69Hh a 92-94c. 3080 inefficient when power limited this is pulling 185 watts
3060 50c core 47c mem 48H/h 120watts
I keep my 3090 vram junction temperature at around 100c which gives about 102mh/s. Have not gotten around to making a new backplate from the crap one EVGA installed on the XC3 Ultra which should allow me to push it more. ETH price may explode further before imploding, unless the dollar keeps imploding and reserve currency status is lost. You are being too conservative on the memory temps Bassman99
I’ve said this before. Throttle temp is 110. Damage temp is 120 for the 3080’s GDDR6X.
Your cards memory can run 10* hotter with no long term issues whatsoever, and 185 watts is what is causing 69Mhs not the temps you are seeing. All three of my 3080s run 100Mhs or better.
They need 224 (Dell), 224 (Asus Tuf) and 244 (EVGA X3) watts to get there. The GDDR6X on my cards runs at 102 or 104*. All three are open air mining. Clock speeds for VRAM is right at +1400MHz. Give or take 40Mhz on each of the cards to have this speed. I currently run the ASUS TUF at +1200Mhz instead of the +1434MHz i had it at in my mining rig, because it now lives in my gaming rig and at +1200Mhz it hits 99MHs per second. At +1434mhz vram it hits 102MHs, but I want it perfectly stable while I mine and watch YouTube videos or browse the web at the same time — so I drop it to 1200MHz and so far no stability issues while multitasking and mining at 99MHs.
Eh? You should be doing more then 102. I am doing 101 on a 3080.I keep my 3090 vram junction temperature at around 100c which gives about 102mh/s. Really? I've hit 97MH/s on a RTX 3080 limited to 220W power. Check https://miningchamber.com/gpu-mining/rtx-3080-mining-settings/ for some settings that might help. You must be getting heavily thermal throttled on the memory really badly for it to be limiting you to 69MH/s.

I am limiting it for fear of burning it up. Hits 110c with these settings with no case side on and a box fan blowing into it.Really? I've hit 97MH/s on a RTX 3080 limited to 220W power. I almost hit $50 on a 3080 a few moments ago.I wanna play some Overwatch but I don't want to pause the miner since it's making so much money right now.

Yes I can, just keeping the junction temperature in check below the 110c limit. Doing this on purpose, I don't push the max rates anyways on any of my cards doing mining.Eh? You should be doing more then 102. I am doing 101 on a 3080.
That $50 is only meaningful if cashed at that value. Could be higher if ETH price continues to go up and up and up or just plain out crash making that $50 into something less. The true value in other words can only be determined when converted, in other words once converted, it could really be $5 or $500. If one cashes out routinely then those values have some value.I almost hit $50 on a 3080 a few moments ago.
Well my 3090 was terrible, limited to around 90mh/s at 104c, redid the backside pads twice and added heatsinks. The backplate is pure cheap trash for cooling, easily bent and no real force or support to get the pads having good contact with the backplate which at that area has a big hole around the GPU area with only the thin sides of the backplate giving anykind of pressure. Anyways most 3090's backside vram cooling have been rather weak. Since the 3080 is cooled by the cooler, that is amazing the manufacturers did not ensure good contact with the cooler if they did at all.I have a Pebuilt with a Tuf 3080 coming saturday it looks like.
Lets see if it runs memory any cooler than this crappy Gigabyte one.
The G-byte throttles constantly and never breaks 91MH/s when it hits its peak.
Other getting high 90s and low 100s with theirs. I got a dud lol
Aftermarket backplates could be a thing EK or others do to help the shortcomings.Well my 3090 was terrible, limited to around 90mh/s at 104c, redid the backside pads twice and added heatsinks. Wow, best I've been able to get out of mine is 96...memory doesn't clock terribly high on mine, though. What clocks are you running and what mining software? Guessing you must have some great overclocking memory.Eh? You should be doing more then 102. I am doing 101 on a 3080.
I am running at +1500 using NH.Wow, best I've been able to get out of mine is 96...memory doesn't clock terribly high on mine, though. What clocks are you running and what mining software? Guessing you must have some great overclocking memory.
Msi goes to +1500 but It crashes or just sow mem clocks when I set it thereI am running at +1500 using NH.
Wow, nice. Mine doesn't like much over +900, so that would definitely explain the difference.I am running at +1500 using NH.

A few weeks ago was able to get to 84 mh at times tweaking settings, but not it will hit 91.x here and there and dip as low as 87Mh
Mem cooling is so bad I regularly hit 84-86c gaming at 1080p while the core is 55c
Meanwhile I have an EVGA 3060 +1200 Mem in a Dell Opti 7050 MT with a single 93mm fan at 57c core and 55c mem temps
I can do +1650 using evga precision. I am fine backing it back some instead of pushing the memory to it's limit.Wow, nice. Mine doesn't like much over +900, so that would definitely explain the difference.
If I could 104c consistent without the portable ac blowing into the card I would run it all out, but I backed it down some again.Yeah, my 3080 does +1525, and will max around 103.2MH/s with monitors turned off. Memory stays around 104C. Enjoying the surge... making about $60/day with the 5 GPU's going (the 3080 is about 40% of that). Pre-tax, this rate could take care of my rent and car payment

Saw BTC take a dump. Bought $10K of BTC in USD at around $50. Tried to buy it at $48, but missed the boat for the lowest price of $46 or 48K per coin today. Been waiting for it to dive to buy more.
Elon Musk is a flake when it comes to Crypto. BTC is going up. In three years it'll be worth more in USD than it is today. Spending some of my Biden bucks on an asset I think will hold value more than USD.
Bitcoin is it. HODL
Agreed, Musk is a repeat market manipulator.
Wouldn't be surprised. Also would not be surprised if he and Tesla hoover up a chunk of BTC then announce they're accepting it again. He'll probably replace it with DOGE. Kinda serious on that.
My daughter thought he was going to raise her DOGE stock.Wouldn't be surprised. Also would not be surprised if he and Tesla hoover up a chunk of BTC then announce they're accepting it again.
After he got his hand slapped for manipulating Tesla stock value, he just looked for an unregulated market to fuck with.
Musk buys a bunch more at dip.Wouldn't be surprised. Also would not be surprised if he and Tesla hoover up a chunk of BTC then announce they're accepting it again.
