Let me know what you guys have on offer.
My dad is currently running an i5 750 / 8GB / GTX 560 and it's way past time for an update.
I'm sending him my 7700K, 16GB, ROG IX Apex and a Phanteks Eclipse P350X and we need a GPU
EDIT:
There is no shortage of 1070 cards for about $200 so if you have a 1070, thanks, but I have several offered to me here on HF and there are several available locally.
I think a 1070 would be fine for now, but I'd like to get him a stronger card that I don't have to worry about in 2 years so I'm aiming higher - please no more 1070 cards.
So this is the breakdown:
Option 1: (a card I send to my dad)
1080 or 2060 ($300 max)
No 2070 or 2070 super cards
No 1080Ti cards because I already have one.
Option 2: (a card for me and I send my 1080Ti to my dad)
2080, 2080 super or 2080ti
I'd prefer a 2080Ti, but $900 is my ceiling. Also - it must have 3 Displayport jacks (no Strix cards)
