Why is it all sitting on carpet....?
It isn't paranoia, it is basic science. But if you want top dollar for stuff, at least take pictures of the components on an anti-static mat, lol.
Why do you have it for 9 days? you normally use the longer auctions for obscure items. common items will fetch the same price with 3 days vs the 7 days or longer.
Okay. I hear you. I'll order an anti-static mat for next time heh. At the least it is bad optics I guess.
I've always felt it lets you gain the biggest audience, and it's just the way I usually have done auctions (of mostly non-computer-related stuff). I don't know how many people look on eBay for used motherboards. You may be right though. Perhaps these items are lucrative enough that it wouldn't matter.

Anti-static mat is unnecessary, just take the pictures on something that won't create static electricity... I usually do it on either glass or wood.
Did you list them for sale here before posting to eBay? most people here use eBay as a last resort due to all the fees and scammers.
Then I start to worry about stuff getting scratched/grinded up though. I think I'll just go with a mat. Just what I'd be more comfortable with. This Rosewill 23.6" x 23.6" mat looks good to me.
I didn't. The eBay fees are pretty high, but I'm more comfortable doing transactions through eBay than working them out craigslist-style. I've had bad experiences both ways but more going the latter route.
I've had good dealings with the members here over the 17 years I've been a member here, sold a motherboard to a member just the other day as a matter of fact.
