So you have a SSD that failed on you... Did that drive have tons of irreplaceable data that you cant get? Perhaps you bought your SSD with hopes and dreams of playing all your MMO's with very little loading and then it broke?! I bet these things make you mad! very very mad!

For the very low price of paying for shipping + .69 cents I'm willing to buy your SSDs and ship them out so they can be shot with a massive rifle by the owner of Hardforum! if you want to just ship them excited to see it get blasted to the high heavens to me as a donation I would gadly accept that as well!

Heat will be left for all transactions where a exhange of some sort happened!

Last time a hard drive died on me without a backup I put a few 7.62x39 through it and felt much better.

I've got a 64GB one that died (and it's out of warranty) somewhere.

though, I would be more inclined if it was a "shipping + $1 to a charity" sort of deal. :D

i'll check the gaylords at work we might have some dead SSD's in some of them. mostly dead HDD's though
 
I have a crucial V4 that I will try to make work tonight, if not it's yours to annihilate!
 
Dang I wish I had some. I might have some bad HDDs that could use a bullet if he wants to shoot some rounds through those again also.

gdi i jsut threw out 2 ssd yesterday i forgot bout this one.

i wish it was harddrive i have gayloards full of those

BTW, I've got three or four dead SSD's here as well. So I have those to give to Kyle if he ends up doing this. If he doesn't, I have them in case I end up doing it.
 
I've only recieved 2 SSDS so far lol I think a few more might be on their way
 
Samsung flashSSD defective ( sata port tripped off)
Since this is from work im unsure how free ican manage to get it but i will save any i get that is defective and see how low i can squezze my manager
 
damn i recently threw out a small stack of old 2nd gen SSD's that failed. id love to have donated to the cause
 
SSD only? I have some older style drives I am willing to donate for some target practice/training. With the proceeds, I will buy splatter burst targets for my step son for the range.

I can not openly shoot anywhere close to where I am at, wish I could just go and do that...do some plinking.

Great cause btw, I am a full supporter of range time for practice.

Id love to see it shot with a .50 cal or even a video, my step son would get a kick out of it for sure.
 
Got some old cashe SSDs. Corsair accelerators. Be glad to send them on to the target range.

Also have a dead spinner I'd like to shoot myself.

I think we want stuff that is the same physical size. The standard SSD size. Although, I'm planning on seeing if I can break Kyle's 18 drive record one of these days.

So you're looking for broken 2.5" drives? I have a few spinning-disk types if you want 'em.
 
Alright! I've got something useful to do with the 60Gb old AF SSD just sitting on a shelf.
 
I'll check work on Monday to see if we still have any laying around that have not been shredded yet. Bullets are a way better method anyway. :)
